Para festejar el 20 aniversario de la serie CLAMP ,se anuncio que llegara un nuevo anime a la pantalla confirmada por la revista japonesa Nakayoshi de kadanspa y se estrenara en enero de 2018 .El manga se publico en 1996 ,con 12 volumenes y fue todo un exito en Japon logrando venderse mas de 12 millones de copias .Segun animenow sera una continuacion directa del anime y las dos peliculas.Clear card comienza con el reencuentro una vez que Sakura se gradua de la escuela Tomoeda y a partir de entonces se convierte en junto con shaoran en pareja oficial.sin embargo no pasa mucho tiempo antes de que Sakura tenga un sueño extraño .En el que se encuentra con una figura envuelta en una capa y todoas las cartas clow que ha reunido,repentinamente se vacian .Por lo que iniciara un nuevo desafio pero con cartas diferentes a las primeras ,ademas de ser completamete transparentes
